Why
Guestbook?
First of all guys, I love a chat!

And, lets be honest, the traditional wedding guestbook is pretty dated...
"Best wishes for the future - Love Joe and Kim"

Doesn't exactly inspire a trip down memory lane does it?
Yeah, nah...
Seriously though, having worked in the wedding industry for some time, I noticed something was missing. Guestbook offers something truly unique. What is it? It's the chance for a couple to capture a genuine perspective from their day from the people who matter most. You 'grab' something special that otherwise wouldn't exist, with words that otherwise wouldn't get said that you get to keep forever.
I found that I loved creating that for people and seeing that it was so valued!

What
About
Process?
the
Pretty simple really! We have a 'quick n casual' meet up (15 min zoom) before the wedding and we get to know one another a little.
That way I have an understanding of what you're like as a couple, I have the necessary run of the day, a clear idea of the guests that you want interviewed and any juicy pieces of goss you want me to ask them.

Any others particulars/changes we just stay in touch.
The day arrives it's game on. I turn up and away we go!

Really?
Fair question... Truth be told, I'm pretty much like most down to earth Aussies.
A morning surf, a good book in the shade, cold beer in the sun and dinner with friends keeps me pretty happy.
A few years years ago I sold my restaurant in Sydney and relocated to Byron Bay with my partner Ruby and haven't looked back.

I've always been in a line of work where social interaction and content creation was a big part of the gig and so, creating Guestbook seemed kind of obvious.
I'm just like you guys..
Here trying to make the best of it and enjoy the ride.
